We believe legal teams deserve software that works as hard as they do.
Archway was built by lawyers and engineers who were frustrated with the status quo — contracts buried in inboxes, renewals missed, and tools that required a manual to operate.
Built by someone who lived the problem.
In 2019, Alex Rivera was working as in-house counsel at a 300-person SaaS company. His team managed over 800 contracts — vendor agreements, customer MSAs, employment contracts, and NDAs — across a combination of Google Drive folders, a shared spreadsheet, and email threads.
When a $240,000 software contract auto-renewed because the 30-day cancellation window was buried in clause 14.3, Alex decided something had to change. He joined forces with Jordan Kim, a software engineer, and they began building Archway in early 2021.
Today, Archway serves over 1,200 legal and operations teams at mid-market companies. Our mission is simple: give every legal team the visibility, intelligence, and control they need to manage contracts with confidence.

What we stand for
Four principles that guide every decision we make — from product to people.
Precision
We sweat the details. Legal work demands exactness, and so does our software. Every feature is built to be reliable, accurate, and trustworthy.
Transparency
No hidden fees, no surprise pricing changes, no lock-in. We believe in building trust through honesty — with our customers and with each other.
Ownership
We take responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs. When something goes wrong, we fix it. When something could be better, we improve it.
Craft
We care deeply about quality — in our code, our design, and our customer interactions. Good enough isn't good enough. We aim for delightful.
